The thing I hate the most about advertising is that it attracts all the bright, creative and ambitious young people, leaving us mainly with the slow and self-obsessed to become our artists. Modern art is a disaster area. Never in the field of human history has so much been used by so many to say so little. Banksy

Via MOT VEGGEN (street art in Bergen)

These are the most engaging dance moves I’ve seen in a very long time (via). Notice when the guy in black slides on the wet asphalt around 0:57. It just doesn’t get smoother than this.

While doing some christmas shopping in Tanuki Koji, a roofed shopping street in Sapporo I passed an alley with some nice street art. Haven’t seen a lot of that lately, either because it’s not that common here or just because I don’t know where to look. Anyways, I made sure to capture it on film. Well not film, I just say that because it sounds cooler. I actually used my ultra-hightech-totally-filled-with-functions-I-will-never-ever-use-but-can-also-be-used-to-call-with cellphone’s camera. Well not that high tech, I’m just trying to live up to the hype about Japan being a technology green house. Did I just write five lines of useless world wide waste? Yes I think I did. Uansett:

A Japanese pensioner hip hop group?

It seems there are material girls in Japan too… Wish that car hadn’t been there. I will take a look next time I pass by, hopefully the car will be gone, but not the piece.
